About the Show
The world-famous Willy Wonka is opening the gates to his mysterious factory…but only to a lucky few. Young Charlie Bucket and four other golden ticket winners will embark on a life-changing journey through Wonka’s world of pure imagination including chocolate waterfalls, nutty squirrels and the great glass elevator, all to be revealed by Wonka's army of curious Oompa-Loompas.
What to Expect
At auditions, be prepared to sing a contemporary or theatre song (bring your own backing track or sing a capella). After auditions, we will notify families by email of kids who are called back to speak lines for a featured role. All kids that sign up will get to participate in the program.
Rehearsals run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from September through October. At rehearsals, kids sing, dance, and act, preparing the show for performance with professional instruction and guidance.
Tech Week is October 27–29. Attendance during Tech Week and Shows is mandatory. Some absences during normal rehearsals are excused. See our attendance policy below for more information.
